Security Systems

Whether your need is Commercial or Residential, you can trust our experienced professionals to design a system tailored to meet your particular needs. Along with offering hardwired systems that utilize traditional telephones lines to communicate to our Central Monitoring Center, we offer hybrid systems that will work in either a hardwired or wireless environment and will communicate with our Central Monitoring Station – whether you have Digital Phone Service through the cable company, fiber optic phone service, or no phone service whatsoever. Additionally, our systems allow you to log into your system via a secure web browser to do such things as arming/disarming, change user codes, view sensor status, and much more.

Whether the application is residential or commercial, a security system designed and installed by Alarmex, Inc. professionals helps protect you and your assets against intruders.

An Alarmex, Inc. security system consists of a control panel, which functions as a central computer, receiving messages from a number of sensors that act as the “eyes” and “ears” of the system. If the system is “armed” and the panel receives a signal, it automatically alerts the Monitoring Station via the built-in telephone communicator and/or the optional GSM transmitter. The dispatcher at the Monitoring Station then alerts the appropriate authorities and others you designate to the emergency condition.

Security System Keypads

Keypads are an important part of your security. They allow you to arm your system with a secured code. They can be placed wherever you need them most and are extremely easy to operate. Keypads feature emergency buttons that allow you to call for help immediately. Backlit buttons allow you to see your keypad when the power is out.

Door and Window Sensors

According to the NBFAA, 56% of burglars enter through a door, another 23% through the first floor window. Door and window sensors are placed in these areas of vulnerability. When the contact is broken, the alarm is triggered. A chime function allows you to monitor who comes and goes from your home – this is great for added security while you are at home. It helps keep children in and intruders out.

Motion Detectors

Motion Detectors are triggered when someone walks in view of the detector. If an intruder enters your home through a door or window that is not protected by a sensor, the motion detector will act as a trap ensuring they don’t stay in the home for long.

Motion Detector technology can distinguish the difference between an intruder and a playful cat or dog left in the home. They can be turned off while you’re home so your windows and doors can remain secured.

Monitored Smoke Detectors

When a fire occurs, it takes just three minutes for a room to become fully engulfed in flames. A monitored smoke detector system is the fastest method to alert the fire department that their response is needed.  This allows you to focus on getting your family out of the home. Smoke detectors provide the best early warning for fire protection and ensure that your home is protected at all times.

Carbon Monoxide Detector

Carbon monoxide poisoning is the #1 cause of accidental poisoning in the United States. You can’t see, smell or taste it, but our Carbon Monoxide Detectors can. When high levels of carbon monoxide are detected, the monitoring station is signaled and alerts your family. Protect your family against this silent killer with a Carbon Monoxide Detector added to your home security system.

Panic Buttons

Panic Sensors are designed to go just about anywhere. This sensor allows you to activate a 24-hour emergency alarm whether you are at home, in the yard, or in the shower. Call for help with just a push of a button.

Alarm Sirens

An alarm siren provides peace of mind for you and acts as a deterrent for would-be intruders. Alarm sirens will wake even the soundest sleepers to alert them of trouble.

Environmental Sensors

Of particular importance for those who spend time at a second home or traveling. Freeze Alarms and Water Leakage Detectors allow you to relax when you’re away and not worry that your furnace may have shut down or the most recent rainstorm resulted in water in your basement.
